Luuk de Vries is een 11 jarige jongen die samen met zijn moeder en twee broertjes en 1 zusje in Amsterdam woont, allen heeft Luuk het niet altijd even makkelijk. Zijn pubertijd is bepaald niet makkelijk. Maar gelukkig kan hij er altijd met zijn beste vrienden Faas, Floris en Svenno over praten. Niet alleen Luuk kent problemen zijn beste vriend Floris van Dijk (11), heeft zelf ook een groot probleem zijn broertje Max word de laatste tijd veel gepest, allen Floris krijgt nog een grote schrik te verwerken als hij er achter komt wie zijn broertje pest. Dit loopt totaal uit de hand en Floris weet hier niet goed mee om te gaan. Svenno de Wit (10) loopt al een hele tijd met een groot geheim rond, iets wat hij niet langer voor zich wilt houden. Faas (10) wilt altijd lekker gezond doen, maar dit loopt op en dag helaas uit op een drama voor hem, iets wat de vrienden groep een keiharde klap bezorgt
